이번 부활주일을 맞아 Living Seed Fellowship의 멤버인 KiKi 자매님의 공식 이름은 Qiwen Bao입니다. KiKi 자매님이 LSF에 오게 되어 믿음의 가족이 된 것은 하나님의 특별한 은혜입니다. KiKi 자매님을 통해서 다른 사람들도 LSF의 멤버가 되었습니다.
그녀가 우리 교회에 와서 가장 좋았던 것은 따뜻하게 반겨주는 마음이라고 합니다. 잠시 다른 교회를 경험한 적이 있었는데 그 때에 사람들이 자신을 판단하고 정죄하는 듯한 말을 들을 때 마음의 어려움이 있었는데 우리 교회에 와서 따뜻한 환영을 받으니 좋다고 합니다.
KiKi 자매님이 LSF의 첫번째 세례교인이 되었습니다. KiKi 자매님이 세례를 받기까지 Jeong 장로님과 최 집사님의 공로가 매우 큽니다.
앞으로 LSF를 통해서 계속 구원받는 영혼들이 많아지고 세례교인들도 많아지기를 기대합니다. 오늘의 세례식 순서를 미리 알려드립니다.
1. 세례를 받는 키키 자매님 소개: 최 집사님이 우리 회중에게 키키 자매님에 대해 간단히 소개합니다.
2. 세례자 입장: 세례를 집례할 조목사님이 키키 자매님을 부르면 키키 자매님이 앞으로 나옵니다.
3. 세례서약: 키키 자매님이 회중 앞에서 네가지 서약을 합니다.
4. 합심기도: 키키 자매님이 무릎을 꿇고 모두 합심으로 기도하고 정 장로님이 대표로 마치는 기도를 합니다.
5. 세례베품: 조목사님이 세번 물을 뿌리며 세례를 베풉니다.
6. 공포: 조목사님이 키키 자매님이 세례교인이 되었음을 공포합니다.
7. 세례증 수여: 정 장로님이 키키 자매님에게 세례증을 전달합니다.
8. 선물 증정: 회중들이 키키 자매님에게 꽃과 선물을 전달합니다.
9. 자리 착석: 키키 자매님이 회중에게 고개 숙여 인사하고 자리로 돌아가 앉습니다. 이 때 모든 회중들이 일어나 박수하고 그녀가 앉을 때 다같이 앉습니다.
Baptism Ceremony on Resurrection Day
This Easter Sunday, we celebrate the baptism of Sister Kiki, whose official name is Qiwen Bao, a member of the Living Seed Fellowship (LSF). It’s a special grace from God that Sister Kiki has become a part of our faith family, and through her, others have joined the LSF as well. She has shared that the warm welcome she received at our church was what she cherished the most, especially after experiencing judgment and condemnation from people at another church she briefly attended. The heartfelt welcome made a significant difference to her.
Sister Kiki has the distinction of being the first baptismal candidate of LSF. The contributions of Elder Jeong and Deacon Choi have been instrumental in leading up to her baptism. We look forward to seeing more people saved and an increase in the number of baptismal candidates through LSF. Let me now share with you the order of today’s baptism ceremony:
1. Introduction of the Baptismal Candidate: Deacon Choi will briefly introduce Sister Kiki to the congregation.
2. Baptismal Candidate’s Entrance: When Pastor Cho calls, Sister Kiki will come forward.
3. Baptismal Vows: Sister Kiki will make four vows in front of the congregation.
4. Baptism Ceremony on Resurrection Day: Sister Kiki will kneel down and everyone will pray in unity, followed by Elder Jeong leading the closing prayer.
5. Administration of Baptism: Pastor Cho will administer baptism by sprinkling water three times.
6. Proclamation: Pastor Cho will declare that Sister Kiki is now a baptized member.
7. Presentation of Baptism Certificate: Elder Jeong will present the baptism certificate to Sister Kiki.
8. Gift Presentation: The congregation will present flowers and gifts to Sister Kiki.
9. Taking a Seat: Sister Kiki will bow to the congregation and return to her seat. At this time, all the congregation will stand and applaud, sitting down only once she is seated.
